And I actually had a gift card which covered this cost so in the end FREE
Safeway:
Bulls Eye BBQ sauce (4) on sale for 1 (should have been 2.99 each), used 4 m-c 1 so FREE
Koolaid packets (10) on sale for 1/10 (should have been .19 each), used m-c .50/5 which doubles to 1/5 but since they were running the special of 1/10 I got all 10 for FREE
Cape Cod chips (2) 3.49 each, used 2 m-c free bag of cape cod chips so FREE
Pops cereal (3) on sale for 2.49 (should have been 3.99 each), used 3 m-c .70 + .30 double to 1, so 4.47/3 or 1.49 each
Raisin bran cereal (2) on sale for 2.49 (should have been 3.99 each), used 2 m-c .70 + .30 double to 1 so 2.98/2 or 1.49 each
And since we bought 5 participating cereals we also got a free movie ticket a $12 value!!
